At EPI we facilitate the growth and skill development of individuals who parent children.

Dr. Patricia Neff is the founder/owner of Empowered Parenting Institute (EPI), a virtual parenting education organization designed to empower parents with evidenced-based tools and strategies, so they feel better equipped to parent their children. 

Dr. Neff is a certified Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) levels 3, 4 and 5 provider, a certified Nurturing Parenting practitioner, and a Certified Strengthening Multi-Ethnic Families Trainer. Dr. Neff is a parenting coach for both secular and faith-based organizations.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Sciences Education and Master of Education in counselling from Iowa State University. Her PhD in Teacher Education and curriculum design is from Oklahoma State University.

Dr. Neff is Professor Emeritus from Arizona State University, where for 21 years she trained K-12 Teachers in Child Development and Human Development, Early Childhood Education and Child and Adolescent development.

Dr. Neff created the Instruct, Practice, Empower (IPE®) Framework that is used to implement all EPI’s parenting programs. IPE® is equity-centered, trauma informed and culturally sensitive.
